Can we bring our own food and beverages?
All food must be supplied, arranged, prepared, served, and cleaned up by a licensed caterer. All beverages must be supplied, arranged, prepared, served, and cleaned up by Ahavah Drops. Neither the Patron nor their guests may bring to or remove from the premises any food, beverage, or service ware.
Are our children allowed to come?
As much as we love children and would love children of all families to join, only those invited by the bride and groom may attend.
Will the ceremony be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be held outdoors. Should there be any issues with the weather, the ceremony will be transitioned indoors.
Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?
The bride and groom kindly request an unplugged ceremony. Please turn off all devices and enjoy being fully present in the moment. Don't worry, a professional photographer will capture the moments! Plus, this allows our photographer to capture photos without interference from other flashes and mobile devices.
Will there be an open bar?
The bride and groom will host during cocktail hour (3:45 PM-4:45 PM). A cash bar will be available during reception for those wanting to purchase more alcohol. The introduction of outside alcohol onto the property is absolutely prohibited. If anyone serves alcohol to a minor, you are subject to a $1,500 fee. Ahavah Cottage IDs for our safety and yours.
Is smoking allowed?
Ahavah Cottage is a non-smoking venue. Smoking will be permitted in designated areas outside located in the parking lot.
